In the past, although resin veneers can quickly achieve the ideal veneer effect, their durability is low. The thickness of the porcelain veneer made of the new material is 0.3 to 0.5 mm. Although it is small and thin, it has strong hardness and light transmittance. After installation, you can feel the natural color of the teeth.

Most of today’s porcelain veneers are made of zirconium dioxide and lithium disilicate. Both materials do not contain metal components and have high strength, light transmittance and durability. They are currently generally recognized by the industry as high-quality restoration materials.

IPS e.max is the material of choice for dental veneers with high mechanical stability, thin restoration walls and natural aesthetics. Due to the material’s high bending strength, tooth protection and natural-looking restorations with significantly reduced wall thickness can be achieved.

Dentsply Sirona’s ultrafine structure makes all the difference The outstanding properties of ZLS (zirconia-reinforced lithium silicate) are a function of its unique microstructure. The presence of 10% zirconia in a glass phase in atomically dissolved form provides high strength and ensures safe and long-lasting restorations. Its high glass content gives the material excellent optical and mechanical properties. The resulting benefits are translucency, opalescence, fluorescence and chameleon effects. High edge stability and excellent polishability are an additional advantage. Cercon all-ceramic dental veneers are mainly made of high-strength zirconia. This material is known for its excellent performance and is particularly suitable for dental restorations. The flexural strength of zirconium dioxide can reach 1200 MPa, which enables Cercon dental veneers to withstand the pressure during daily chewing and is not easy to break, thereby providing long-term durability. Cercon’s material design also includes a multi-layer structure, which means that layers of different colors can simulate the appearance of natural teeth. These layers gradually change from the dentin of the teeth to the incisal tip, making the final effect more natural. Cercon also uses True Color Technology, which can accurately match the color of the VITA standard, providing up to 16 color options to meet the needs of different patients.
