What is Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin, high-strength ceramic shells designed to improve the appearance of teeth—color, shape, gaps, and alignment. Custom-made through aesthetic planning and bonded to the natural tooth surface, they greatly enhance your smile with a transparent, natural look. Made from metal-free materials, they are gum-friendly and unlikely to cause irritation or gum darkening, making them a popular fast option for cosmetic tooth color and appearance corrections.
In the past, although resin veneers can quickly achieve the ideal veneer effect, their durability is low. Usually, after a period of time, they will need to be replaced again due to problems such as veneer peeling and gum inflammation. Dentists recommend using Glow Smile porcelain veneers, which are better for maintaining long-term beauty. Since porcelain veneers are a long-term treatment, full-mouth CT scans and 3D impressions are used before surgery to collect complete tooth data. Then, the bright smile line design plan is used to simulate the aesthetic shape and color of teeth based on details such as face shape, lips and gums, so as to create your favorite smile curve.
Porcelain veneers have many benefits, and 3 major advantages highlight dental aesthetics
1. Ultra-thin transparent patch, emitting natural luster
The thickness of the porcelain veneer made of the new material is 0.3 to 0.5 mm. Although it is small and thin, it has strong hardness and light transmittance. After installation, you can feel the natural color of the teeth.
2. High biocompatibility, protect gum health
Most of today’s porcelain veneers are made of zirconium dioxide and lithium disilicate. Both materials do not contain metal components and have high strength, light transmittance and durability. They are currently generally recognized by the industry as high-quality restoration materials.
3. The hardness is close to that of natural teeth, and the durability is longer
The hardness of Zekang’s high-transparency porcelain and private customized handmade porcelain veneers is about 900-1200MPa; while the hardness of cast porcelain and blue porcelain is about 400-500MPa. The hardness of the above two is much higher than that of resin veneers. Both are suitable for front teeth that do not require strong bite. As long as good maintenance habits are maintained, it is not a problem to maintain 10-15 years of use.
What type of teeth are suitable for porcelain veneers?
Porcelain veneers are especially suitable for the following tooth types:
- Discolored teeth: such as tetracycline stains, fluorosis, pigmented teeth, and severe whitening-resistant yellowing.
- Unfavorable tooth shapes: front teeth that are too small, misshapen, or proportionally unbalanced.
- Large gaps: especially noticeable gaps in the front teeth that veneers can close.
- Mild misalignment: including slight crowding or mild incisor misalignment where braces are undesired.
- Minor structural damage or chipping: small fractures from accidents, decay, or wear.
- Enamel development defects: insufficiently smooth, strong, or esthetically pleasing enamel.
For severe tooth loss, extensive decay, unstable roots, history of root canal treatment, or entire tooth fracture, other restorations like full crowns are usually recommended. Suitability is best assessed by a dentist in person.

Celtra Dentsply Lingxi Porcelain
Dentsply Sirona’s ultrafine structure makes all the difference The outstanding properties of ZLS (zirconia-reinforced lithium silicate) are a function of its unique microstructure. The presence of 10% zirconia in a glass phase in atomically dissolved form provides high strength and ensures safe and long-lasting restorations. Its high glass content gives the material excellent optical and mechanical properties. The resulting benefits are translucency, opalescence, fluorescence and chameleon effects. High edge stability and excellent polishability are an additional advantage. This ultrafine structure allows Dentsply Sirona to be processed quickly and efficiently in the dental laboratory in its crystalline state and in the appropriate tooth color.

German brand
Zenostar WIELAND
WIELAND all-ceramic crowns are made in Germany, and the product materials are: imported Zenostar Zr ceramic blocks and high-end decorative porcelain powder from Germany. German brand
Zekang High Transparency Cercon®ht Porcelain Veneers
Cercon all-ceramic dental veneers are mainly made of high-strength zirconia. This material is known for its excellent performance and is particularly suitable for dental restorations. Cercon’s material design also includes a multi-layer structure, which means that layers of different colors can simulate the appearance of natural teeth. These layers gradually change from the dentin of the teeth to the incisal tip, making the final effect more natural. Cercon also uses True Color Technology, which can accurately match the color of the VITA standard, providing up to 16 color options to meet the needs of different patients.
